If you find yourself spending Halloween in Myrtle Beach SC this year rest assured there are plenty of local activities taking place for the holiday. Whether it’s just you and another letting your inner “Boo!” out at an Adult’s Costume Party on the Marshwalk or you’re taking the kids out for some safe trick or treating at Barefoot Landing, there’s plenty to keep you out of trouble this year!
Following are the activities taking place around the area for Halloween:

Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m., Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach
Enjoy a safe and fun evening at Barefoot Landing. They’re offering free bags for the goodies plus free carousel rides. Show up early and grab some dinner before you start your journey around Barefoot Landing.
Oct. 31, 5-6 p.m., Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk
Children can trick-or-treat early before the grown up fun begins Halloween on the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk. Prizes will be awarded for best kid’s costumes. Make plans to hit up the great seafood restaurants in the Inlet while you’re down there!
Oct. 31, 8 p.m., Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk
Adult Costume contest takes place during Halloween on the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk. Prizes will be awarded for best adult’s costumes.
Oct. 31, 5-8 p.m., Howl-O-Scream, NMB Park and Sports Complex, North Myrtle Beach
The free Howl-O-Scream event includes hayrides, pumpkin painting and marshmallow roasting in addition to the traditional trick-or-treating. The event is open to all ages and includes scary and scare-free zones.
Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., Tanger Outlets, Both Hwy 501 and Hwy 17 locations in Myrtle Beach
Visit either Tanger Outlet Center in Myrtle Beach and trick-or-treat around the shopping outlets. Just look for the Halloween decal outside of stores to see if they’re taking place in the fun.
Have fun on Halloween this year and stay safe by using flashlights or headlamps and having reflective tape on your costumes!
