3 Easter Activities You Don’t Want to Miss

It’s hard to believe that Easter will be here in just a few short days, and if you’re looking for something to do, we have the perfect answer. Unlike last year, when many different activities and events were canceled, there are plenty of things to do this year. Staying with us at Myrtle Beach Resort will allow you and your family to be close to some of the fun happening in the area. Let’s look below at three different activities that you and your family can do this Easter Break!

Easter Egg Hunt in North Myrtle Beach

This year if you’re looking for a fun egg hunt to attend in the area, then head on over to McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach. Join in the fun on Saturday, April 3rd, beginning at 10:00 am sharp, will be the 39th Annual North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt. While they require that you and your family wear face masks, they will have several different groups separated by their ages. This year it is a bit extra, of course, compared to previous years, but this is only for the egg hunt, see the Easter Bunny and Friends and get a little candy. Think of the fun memories that you’ll make this Easter weekend here at the beach!

    Let Them Paint

Do you have someone in the family who loves to paint or draw? If you do, then allow us to share with you a fun kids camp that is happening over at Painting with a Twist, located next to Beach Ford. This is an excellent way for the kids to meet new children and let their imaginations run wild. The day camp will begin at 9:00 am and will be painting a “zoo” themed Painting to take home as a souvenir to remember their trip by. Please be sure to register before the day to be sure to get into a seating. Also, pack for your camper a water bottle and lunch. The camps will be going on from Monday, April 5th through Friday, April 9th.

    Meet the Easter Bunny

Another great activity and event happening this coming weekend are meeting the Easter Bunny over at Lulu’s at Barefoot Landing. Happening on Saturday and Sunday, April 3rd & 4th, bring the family over to not only meet the Easter Bunny but have photos taken too. After you’ve completed the Easter Bunny, head-on into Lulu’s for a great lunch and enjoy some extra treats, this event is happening from 11;00 am and ends at 2:00 pm. Bring the camera with you and take those pictures to capture the memories of Easter this year.

While other activities and events are happening in the area for Easter, we wanted to share these with you. If you haven’t booked your trip yet to stay with us at Myrtle Beach Resort, now is the time. We hope to see you and your family as you celebrate Easter with us here in Myrtle Beach!

The Hollywood Wax Museum where you can “meet” wax celebrities or go through the mirror maze and then do the zombie-themed adventure towards the end of the tour is something fun for everyone. Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum is something like other that you may have seen. This could take you and your family all day to go through and experience such a fun thing to do for a day together.

    Miniature Golf Anyone?

Many people these days can remember vacationing at the beach and heading over to do a night or two of miniature golf with their family. So, why not start this as a tradition with your family on each vacation you take to Myrtle Beach? There are plenty of miniature golf places around Myrtle Beach whether it’s in North or South, you will find a mini-golf place. • 4 Reasons Why Myrtle Beach in December is a Must
4 Reasons Why Myrtle Beach in December is a Must If you like many other families out there need to get away for a weekend or a week, then consider coming to Myrtle Beach. Coming to the beach during December can seem like a crazy idea, but in fact it’s not. December is a great time of the year to visit Myrtle Beach and stay in one of our 2-Bedroom Condos. Not only will you see holiday cheer throughout the city, but you will also be able to get away from the snow and cold temperatures back home. Let’s look at the 4 reasons why Myrtle Beach in December is must.

    Less Crowded

If you are looking for a nice, relaxing kind of getaway then consider coming to Myrtle Beach during the off-season. During the month of December, you will most likely be dealing with the locals and not the crazy summer crowds. That means most likely the attractions will be less crowded meaning if there is a show you’d like to go see, go see it! Less crowded means that the pools won’t be crazy packed either and you can take advantage of our indoor pools we have at Myrtle Beach Resort.

    Beautiful Weather

4 Reasons Why Myrtle Beach in December is a Must While the weather back home will most likely be cold and the streets covered in snow, come enjoy our beautiful weather we have here. With the average temperature of 60 degrees you can wear shorts if you choose to. If you’d like to head to the beach for a day and enjoy the sand and a nice walk down the beach, then you can. Who would want to be snowed in at home rather than be at the beach for a nice vacation? We do recommend bringing long pants and a jacket or sweatshirt with you for the evenings.

    Fun Events

The month of December is full of fun events surrounding the holidays. From walking around Broadway at the Beach to see their festive decorations to going to Brookgreen Gardens to see their Night of a Thousand Candles. You will not be bored with what is happening throughout Myrtle Beach. If you are looking at something fun to see go we recommend checking out the following events:
    • The Great Christmas Light Show – Come to the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex from now until December 31, 2020. Here you will be able to drive through a light show that will feature over 2 million festive lights displayed. This is one magical event that you don’t want to miss!
    • Holiday Events at Broadway at the Beach – Head on over to Broadway at the Beach for some fun holiday events such as the Merry & Musical Christmas Tree where the tree comes to life. There are also different breakfasts over at Hard Rock Cafe that you want to make a reservation for this year.

    Golf

4 Reasons Why Myrtle Beach in December is a Must Golfing in the winter in Myrtle Beach is not like it is in the spring, summer and fall. You won’t have to deal with the amount of people trying to grab all of the good tee times, so this can be a wonderful thing. The cost to golf is also a better value in the winter time than it is during the summer months. We do offer a golf deal for you so just call our golf desk to make reservations today at 800-368-0045. Golfing at the beach is the best no matter when you visit Myrtle Beach! There are many other reasons as of why you must visit Myrtle Beach during the month of December, but we thought this would help make your decision a little easier.
