It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is right around the corner, and it only means that fall is coming. This fall, instead of heading to the mountains, why not head on to Myrtle Beach. We at Myrtle Beach Resort love this time of the year for many different reasons, and we’d love to share with them with you. Let’s look below at how you and your family can “fall” in love with our resort on your next vacation.
One of the best things about when you vacation with us here
at Myrtle Beach Resort during the fall is the weather. Not only will you have
pleasant weather, but you’ll also be able to enjoy the sand as well. The highs
during the days will be around 80° and
lows around 65° for September. October will bring a little cooler temperature,
such as 75° as the high and 55° as the lows. We suggest that you pack a few
different things for the days and nights. No matter what the temperature is
here in Myrtle Beach, it’s most likely warmer than the mountains for sure.
Another great thing about coming to the beach during the fall months is the number of amenities that our resort has to offer. If it happens to be a little too chilly for the kids to enjoy the pool during the day, then have no fear as we have two indoor pools that you can take advantage of. Some of the other great amenities that we offer are hot tubs, tennis courts, three different health spas that have even steam rooms, saunas, and jacuzzi, and so much more. No matter what time of the year you visit Myrtle Beach Resort, there is something for everyone.
While there are many other reasons to fall in love with Myrtle Beach Resort, these are the few we wanted to share with you. If you haven’t booked your next fall vacation to stay with us, now is the time. We can’t wait to see you and

or hunting for shells is what vacation is about. Think of the new memories that
you will make on the days you spend on the sand. What a great way to spend
Spring Break then on the sand and by the surf.

Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer but that doesn’t mean that you have to end it by not taking a getaway together. Many families love to take one last vacation before the kids have to go back to school and what a better place than to be at the beach. Staying with us at Myrtle Beach Resort will keep your family close to where they can have a little bit of fun too. Let’s look below at what your family can enjoy this coming up weekend on your last summer vacation of the year.
It’s a Race
What’s a better way to start out your Labor Day weekend than to have a little friendly family race together on the go-kart track. Over at Broadway Grand Prix Family Race Park to try out the 7 different go-kart tracks. Depending on what you’re looking to do there is a track that everyone in the family will enjoy. And if go-karts are not your thing don’t worry because there are other attractions there for your family to do. From mini golf to the bumper cars you won’t hear “we’re bored” from the kids!
Explore & Soar Like the Wind
One way to make sure that your family can enjoy a fun adventure while on vacation during Labor Day would be to head over to Explore & Soar. Located at Broadway at the Beach is where you will find this amazing adventure. If you have kids who are into doing new things that require them to climb as high as they can, then this is the thing for them. Not only can you and your family do a fun outdoors ropes challenge, but they can also enjoy some over the water zip lining. What a fun adventure that everyone in the family can enjoy together and bring home new memories.
New Adventures Down the River
Go on a new adventure while you are at the beach but instead of hitting the sand and surf, head a little inland for this one. River Island Adventure is located in North Myrtle Beach about 7 miles inland from the ocean. This can be for any family looking to try something new and exciting like floating in a tube down the Waccamaw River. If that doesn’t sound like fun, then join in their own “Survivor” fun with escaping the island. This is something that the older kids will love, and you will love too because it’s something fun for everyone!
While there are many other fun things that are happening this weekend for Labor Day, we thought you’d like these. If you still haven’t made reservations to visit this weekend, we still have availability. We at Myrtle Beach Resort look forward to seeing you and the family before school begins back home!
Are you and your family coming to Myrtle Beach soon for your next vacation? IF the answer is yes, then we must tell you about 4 kid-friendly beach activities for your next vacation. Staying with us at Myrtle Beach Resort will keep you close to the surf and the sand. Let’s take a peek below at what those 4 activities for the beach are.
For any family who comes to vacation at the beach, they are
always looking for new things to do with the kids. This is a classic thing that
your kids can do together or with you, boogie boarding. Head to the store where
you can pick up a boogie board or two to help make this activity happen.
Who knew that blowing bubbles on the beach could be more fun
than at home? Making your own bubbles or getting a bubble wand from the local
dollar store will help keep the kids entertained. Watching the bubbles blow in
the wind from the ocean is always fun and never gets old. This is a kid- friendly
activity especially for the younger ones who want something to do while they are
having a good time.
Beach Ball Potato
Have you ever played hot potato at home? If you have then
this is just like that game only you use a beach ball. Be sure to bring a small
radio or your smartphone loaded up with fun kid music. Start the music and pass
the beach ball around in a circle and when the music stops, the kid holding the
ball is out. This game is great for everyone and can be played on the sand or
indoors, whatever works best for your family.
Just like snow angels that can be made in the snow, your
kids can make sand angels instead. This can be a fun activity that all kids will
love as it means they can get messy. Have each child lay in the sand and make a
jumping jack movement on the sand to make their angels. But we must warn you
that your child will have sandy hair and bodies. Good news is that there is
always the ocean to rinse all that sand off afterwards. What a great memory to
make while on your next family vacation!
While there are many other beach activities for the kids to do, we thought to share these few. If you still haven’t made your next reservation to stay with us at Myrtle Beach Resort, now is the time. We hope that new memories will be made here on the sand and you will enjoy the last moments of summer!
