Staying at Myrtle Beach Resort enhances your experience, blending the comfort of premium vacation rentals with the natural beauty and recreational options the area is famous for. Here’s how to make the most of this special day with your loved ones in this beautiful coastal city.

Start with a Sunrise

Dawn along the Atlantic Ocean shoreline in North Myrtle Beach, SC with a beautiful orange cast from the rising sun

Begin your day by watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. Myrtle Beach’s beautiful beaches offer a relaxing setting for your family to enjoy the breathtaking views. Bring a blanket and hot chocolate and watch the sky turn into a canvas of pinks and oranges. It’s a great way to start the day and a great moment to express gratitude and love for each other.

Explore Brookgreen Gardens

Spend the late morning at Brookgreen Gardens, a unique blend of art, nature, and history. The gardens are charming with the mild February weather, and the sculptures add an artistic touch to your Valentine’s Day stroll. The kids will enjoy the Lowcountry Zoo, and the entire family can learn about the area’s rich history through the garden’s exhibits.

Enjoy a Family Picnic on the Beach

Pack a picnic with your family’s favorite foods and return to the beach for a late lunch. A beach picnic allows you to enjoy Myrtle Beach’s natural beauty while spending quality time with your loved ones. Bring along a frisbee or a football for some playful family competition. After you have playful time on the beach and your bellies are full, head up to your vacation rental, where you can take an afternoon nap.

Visit the SkyWheel

SkyWheel in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, SC, USA.

After a relaxing afternoon at the resort, ride on the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel. The enclosed gondolas offer stunning panoramic views of the city and ocean, making it a magical experience for the whole family. The SkyWheel is especially enchanting in the evening when lit up, adding a touch of romance to your family adventure. And if you’re lucky enough to be there as the sun sets, you’ll glimpse the sunset with the sky looking like pure cotton candy.

End the Day with a Family Dinner

Conclude your Valentine’s Day with a special family dinner. Many restaurants along the Grand Strand offer Valentine’s Day menus and are family-friendly. Whether you’re in the mood for seafood, Italian, or traditional American cuisine, you’ll find a spot that caters to everyone’s taste buds in the family. If you’d like something different, why not try Pirate’s Voyage or Medieval Times for a little untraditional Valentine’s dinner?

Valentine’s Day in Myrtle Beach is an opportunity to create lasting memories with your family. From the peaceful sunrise to the exciting SkyWheel ride, each activity offers a chance to celebrate love in its many forms. Therefore, gather your belongings and go to Myrtle Beach Resort, where a Valentine’s Day brimming with familial joy and treasured experiences awaits.

From taking a 30-minute Jet Ski tour to flying high in the sky parasailing, you won’t hear “I’m bored” out of any of your kids.
