Pelicans Baseball Game:

If you are a baseball lover or have someone in your family, then maybe go have a family night out and see a Pelicans Baseball Game in North Myrtle Beach. From April 6th to September 10th, 2023. you can be able to see a game at the home locations of Myrtle Beach. Located at 1251 21st Ave, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Summer Nights at Broadway at the Beach:

From June 5th to August 27th, 2023 head over to Broadway at the Beach every night for some fun nightly entertainment. There is something for everyone and it’s something that you won’t want to miss. From free face painting every Saturday and Sunday at 7-10 pm to Fireworks every Tuesday night at 10 pm until August 27th. The admission for this event is free.

Surfside Beach Farmers Market:

Are you a lover of fresh fruits, veggies and more, then maybe the farmers market is something that you’d enjoy? And for those of you who are staying in one of our condos and who love to cook maybe grab a watermelon or two for those hot days on the beach. Located at Passive Park in Surfside is where you will find all the goods along with free parking.

Brookgreen Summer Lights Festival:

Go see the magic of nature illuminated and more fun for the whole family to enjoy. Every Wednesday to Saturday nights until August 26th, 2023 come see what nature has to offer you and more. Located at 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. This festival you will get to experience many different things including games, performances, crafts for the kids and local food trucks from 7-10 pm. Admission for members is $20 per adult and $12 for kids 4-12. Admission for non-members are $25 per adult and $15 for kids 4-12, children 3 and under admission is free.

Free Movies and Concerts in Myrtle Beach

Market Commons Farmers Market:

Another great local farmers market is located at 4017 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. If you happen to miss the other farmers market during the first part of the week, have no fear because this one happens every Saturday until October 2023 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Adventure is Out There in Myrtle Beach

Did you know that there are so many different things that your family can do on your next vacation? The kids are out for the summer and why not go on an adventure in the Myrtle Beach area. Be a Ninja

One of the latest crazes that has hit the United States has to be American Ninja Warriors. In many cities you may find your own obstacle course you can have fun on, but you are in luck. Myrtle Beach has their very own Ninja gym where you and your family can become a ninja too. Choose from 60 minutes to 120 minutes. What a great way to spend the day with the family to be a new Ninja Family!

Let’s Go Tubing

Did you know that you can do something a little different while at the beach? Instead of going to the beach for a day, head over to River Island Adventure. Here you will be able to do a few different things such as tubing down the Waccamaw River as a family, enjoy Taco Tuesday on a float or escape the island. This can become a family tradition with doing this and the prices are very affordable. Be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen to lather up so you can float down the river and enjoy spending time with each other!

Spend Time on the Water

Another great adventure that you and your family can do is do a few tours on the water. Many don’t think of doing something fun like this, but head over to Express Watersports where your family can choose what adventure tour you’d like to try. From taking a 30-minute Jet Ski tour to flying high in the sky parasailing, you won’t hear “I’m bored” out of any of your kids. And be sure to keep a look out for dolphins as they love to stay close and give you a show. Bring sunscreen, hats and be sure to pack your bathing suit as you go on a water adventure together!

Did Someone Say “Four?”

If your family is up for a little challenge against each other, why not check out Top Golf of Myrtle Beach? A newer attraction to the Myrtle Beach area is where the fun will start, and you won’t want it to end. You’ll find this 3-story building with 70+ Bays, a rooftop terrace, fire pits, and a restaurant at Broadway at the Beach. Top Golf offers group lessons, private bays for up to six people, or walk-ins. Plan a day with the family to this fun attraction in Myrtle Beach.

Can you believe that Easter is just a few short weeks away? We can’t either, and we have to say that we’re excited over the future vacations for many. Spring Break and Easter are just the starts of the traveling mode for many families looking to escape their busy lives at home. 41^st Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Head on over to McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach, hosting their 41^st Annual North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt. This will be on Saturday, April 8^th starting at 10:00 am. This event is free to participate in, and there will be plenty of different age groups for the kids to enjoy. We do recommend that you arrive early as parking will be limited. Don’t miss out on this fun and annual activity on your Easter vacation.

Surfside Beach Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s Fair

Another great event near Myrtle Beach is the Surfside Beach Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s Fair. On Saturday, April 8^th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm is where you’ll be able to find this fun event. Admission to this event is free of charge, and the hunt will be for children ages ten and under. Along with the Easter Egg hunt, they will be hosting a children’s fair that will include live entertainment, bounce houses, food, and different vendors. Bring the whole family out to this event for a day of fun!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

In this event, you will need to book this in advance but included in the price of the breakfast is early admission into the aquarium, a delicious breakfast, a picture with the Easter Bunny, and so much more. “Fall” in Love with Myrtle Beach Resort

It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is right around the corner, and it only means that fall is coming. This fall, instead of heading to the mountains, why not head on to Myrtle Beach. We at Myrtle Beach Resort love this time of the year for many different reasons, and we’d love to share with them with you. Let’s look below at how you and your family can “fall” in love with our resort on your next vacation.

Beach Weather

One of the best things about when you vacation with us here at Myrtle Beach Resort during the fall is the weather. Not only will you have pleasant weather, but you’ll also be able to enjoy the sand as well. The highs during the days will be around 80° and lows around 65° for September. October will bring a little cooler temperature, such as 75° as the high and 55° as the lows. We suggest that you pack a few different things for the days and nights. No matter what the temperature is here in Myrtle Beach, it’s most likely warmer than the mountains for sure.

Less Crowded

The fall months are a great time to visit Myrtle Beach as schools are back in session. This means that you’ll be able to enjoy more time together on the beach, at restaurants and when out shopping. You will also be able to travel around town a little easier as traffic won’t be a big reason, you’re late to dinner or a show. Another great reason is you’ll be able to find more availability at one of the many shows here in the Myrtle Beach area.

The 1229 Shine Restaurant is in Myrtle Beach’s Market Commons area. This new restaurant has made its way into our hearts and stomachs here on the Grand Strand. Some of the items you’ll find on the menu are Calamari Rings, Fry Basket, Grilled Oysters, Cobb Salad, etc. They also have a good size gluten-free menu for those who have dietary restrictions. Don’t miss this new restaurant to try out on your summer vacation.

Winna’s Kitchen

Another new restaurant opened in Myrtle Beach is Winna’s Kitchen. This is in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach, close to the boardwalk, and is one that many locals are talking about. Some of the food you can find on the menu are Cast Iron Omelet, The Castle Salad, Caprese Toast, and we can’t forget the southern classic, Shrimp & Grits. They also have a special “Chef’s Menu” offered with the course and drink pairings. Think of the delicious food you’ll get to experience in Myrtle Beach.
