But if you are looking for fun activities outside of our resort, then you will want to check out several fun events happening within the Myrtle Beach area this summer! There are many that are ongoing and a few that will happen just once this summer that you may not want to miss out on.

Pelicans Baseball Game:

If you are a baseball lover or have someone in your family, then maybe go have a family night out and see a Pelicans Baseball Game in North Myrtle Beach. From April 6th to September 10th, 2023. you can be able to see a game at the home locations of Myrtle Beach. Located at 1251 21st Ave, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Summer Nights at Broadway at the Beach:

From June 5th to August 27th, 2023 head over to Broadway at the Beach every night for some fun nightly entertainment. There is something for everyone and it’s something that you won’t want to miss. From free face painting every Saturday and Sunday at 7-10 pm to Fireworks every Tuesday night at 10 pm until August 27th. The admission for this event is free.

Surfside Beach Farmers Market:

Are you a lover of fresh fruits, veggies and more, then maybe the farmers market is something that you’d enjoy? And for those of you who are staying in one of our condos and who love to cook maybe grab a watermelon or two for those hot days on the beach. Located at Passive Park in Surfside is where you will find all the goods along with free parking.

Brookgreen Summer Lights Festival:

Go see the magic of nature illuminated and more fun for the whole family to enjoy. Every Wednesday to Saturday nights until August 26th, 2023 come see what nature has to offer you and more. Located at 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. This festival you will get to experience many different things including games, performances, crafts for the kids and local food trucks from 7-10 pm. Admission for members is $20 per adult and $12 for kids 4-12. Admission for non-members are $25 per adult and $15 for kids 4-12, children 3 and under admission is free.

Free Movies and Concerts in Myrtle Beach

Market Commons Farmers Market:

Another great local farmers market is located at 4017 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. If you happen to miss the other farmers market during the first part of the week, have no fear because this one happens every Saturday until October 2023 from 10 am to 3 pm.

There are many special festivities being held all over the Grand Strand and they only come around at this time of year. Treat yourself to a day or evening out and make the most of them. The Great Christmas Light Show is being held at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex (150 Circle, Little River) from December 13 through December 30. This is affordable fun for the whole family. For 1-15 guests, the cost per vehicle is $15. For more information on hours and prices, follow The Great Christmas Light Show on Facebook.

 

Join the Area Festivities Right Through the New Year

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Holiday Season as the City of Conway creates a new tradition, the Conway Celebration of Lights. This driving light show is approximately 1 mile long and features thousands of lights and unique displays. The event runs through Sunday, January 1. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. each night. The Celebration of Lights is located on Marina Drive and Elm Street. Enter by 3rd Ave. and follow the signs. On Friday and Saturday evenings, special attractions such as a live nativity scene, live music performed by local groups, s’mores station and other fun events will take place.

Don’t miss the Festival of Trees at Ripley’s Aquarium taking place through December 31. More than 50 trees will be uniquely decorated to represent each state in the country. Ripley’s is located at 1110 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

The Calvin Gilmore Theater is transformed into a winter wonderland where the magic of the season comes alive in The Carolina Opry Christmas Special. This dazzling, jolly, and sentimental musical celebration of America’s best loved holiday takes place through January 1, 2017. Dubbed “Father Christmas” by McClatchy papers, Calvin Gilmore produces and directs the show with his usual award-winning flair for production. Located at 8901 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC.

The Carolina Improv will be having some great improv comedy shows for ages 18+ between now and the end of the year. Not Home for the Holidays will be at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 14, 17, 21, 23 and 30. The Ugly Holiday Sweater Improv will be at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 16 and 22. Talkin’ Bout My Resolutions will be at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 28. Location: Uptown Theater at the Myrtle Beach Mall, 10177 N.
