Meet the Staff

David Davis is the General Manager of Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations. He directs the housekeeping staff, maintenance staff and the Front Desk, managing a payroll that fluctuates from a core group of 11 to summertime 150.

Recently married to wife Linda, David also has a fourteen-year-old daughter, Beth. He was born in Williamsburg, Virginia but went to high school in Winston-Salem North Carolina. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Thomas Nelson Community College.

David grew up in the hotel business learning many valuable lessons from his father, who worked for Holiday Inn. His first job was a night auditor position for Ramada Inns and he has been working in the hospitality industry ever since.

After a lifetime of vacationing at the beach, David finally moved here. He started working for Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations in April 2002. Although he likes the Resort atmosphere, he did find it challenging to get used to managing different properties spread throughout the resort as opposed to having them all in one building.

David says that he gets his greatest satisfaction from providing the best vacation experience for our guest. He has started a program where we can reserve local show tickets for our guests at discounted prices.

We are very proud of David and hope you will take the time to meet and greet him the next time you are at the Myrtle Beach Resort.
