Terms & Conditions

Persons occupying a vacation condominium must include an occupant who is at least 23 years of age. Reservation must also be in the name of someone 23 years of age or older.

Deposit Requirements: In order to secure your reservation, we require a deposit equal to 1/2 of the total charges plus a non-refundable $30.00 reservation processing fee. Reservations must be paid in full 30-days prior to arrival.

Check-in Time: Check-in time is between 4:00PM and the close of business on the day of your arrival. Please have your confirmation letter and/or reservation number handy and proceed directly to the Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations Reception Center located immediately on the left as you enter the Resort. Valid government issued photo identification is required at check-in. We make every effort to ensure that all units are clean and ready for occupancy; however, during Peak Season or in some instances it may be necessary to delay occupancy until unit is ready. We are unable to make other arrangements, property substitutions, rate adjustments or refunds for delayed occupancy. Early check-in is permitted for a nominal fee and must be purchased prior to 24-hours of arrival date. Please authorize us (in writing prior to your arrival) to release your keys to another party member if you cannot be present at check-in. You will still be required to formally check-in at our office. If you have not already done so, you will need to purchase a parking pass. Parking passes cost $5.00 per automobile. Only two automobiles per unit are permitted at the resort without prior notice.

Late Arrival: If you are arriving after 6:00PM, you must notify our office so arrangements can be made for you. No other arrangements, property substitutions, rate adjustments or refunds will be issued for late occupancy. Unless arrangements have been made with our office, your deposit will hold your condominium for the scheduled night of arrival only. Failure to notify Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations of your delay may result in loss of deposit as well as your condominium.

Cancellations/Transfers: Confirmed reservations are non-transferable and non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 30 days of arrival. Refund of monies paid, minus a $30.00 reservation fee for cancellations received 30-days or more in advance of arrival date. No refunds are issued for early departures. In the case of a "No Show" the reservation will be considered a cancellation and is non-transferable and non-refundable. No refund on cancellations, regardless of reason (including inclement weather, illness, death, economic factors, etc.) as we have a strict No Refund Policy. To help protect your vacation investment, we recommend the purchase of Vacation Protection Insurance on all reservations. Certain restrictions apply. Cancellation of reservations (within 30-days) not holding insurance will not receive refunds of any kind.

Upon Arrival: Prior to moving in personal items, please inspect the unit thoroughly upon arrival for cleanliness, confirm appliances are in working order and no damages are present. Report any damages/requests for service immediately. All damage reports, any cleanliness issues or additional services must be requested within one hour of your arrival, or we will assume you found your unit in acceptable condition. Guest assumes all responsibility/liability for damages in unit not reported upon arrival. Please contact the office immediately (not at departure) with any cleanliness or other issues with your unit. Refunds will not be made if cleaning is unsatisfactory to guest. We will send a housekeeping team to correct any cleaning discrepancy. Though we do not make rate adjustments, substitutions or refunds, we do make every effort to meet your satisfaction.

Housekeeping/Linen Service: Units are cleaned following departure only. Daily cleaning service and/or additional linen is available for an additional charge. All units are supplied one-time with linen, towels and washcloths. You will be responsible for maintaining the linen during your visit. Laundry facilities are available throughout the Resort. All linen will be counted by our housekeeping staff and shortages billed to the guest.

Unit Descriptions: Every attempt is made to make sure that condo descriptions are accurate; however, we cannot be held responsible for errors in descriptions of the unit, furnishings, equipment and rates. Omissions, additions, or errors as well as changes in furnishings, bedding arrangements, equipment, etc. made by the Owner shall not be the responsibility of the Agent, Owner, or Webmaster. We are unable to make other arrangements/substitutions/refunds upon your arrival.

Accommodations: Each condominium is privately owned, furnished and equipped according to the Owner's taste and requirements. The condition and furnishings of each condo may vary. All condos are designated as non-smoking. We cannot guarantee that the property will be smoke free. We will make every effort to complete reasonable repairs and corrections as soon as possible. No refunds or reimbursements will be authorized to unsatisfied tenants nor will refunds be authorized in the event of air conditioning or appliance failure. Accessories, bedding, curtains, d'cor, electronic equipment, furniture etc. may not be rearranged/changed/removed from the interior of the home. Both the interior & exterior decor can not be changed. Unit conditions and furnishings vary due to age and care given by the owner. We are unable to make other arrangements, property substitutions, rate adjustments or refunds once your reservation is confirmed or upon your arrival as we have a strict No Refund Policy.

Maintenance/Repairs: Please understand that these are unique and intricate condos, which just like your own home, occasionally experience unexpected problems. Please report any inoperative equipment or maintenance problems to our office immediately. We will make every effort to correct any problems you may experience in a timely manner. Please understand that certain emergencies do take precedence. Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations is not responsible for delays and/or service interruptions with utilities such as cable, Internet access, phone service, etc. No rate adjustments, property substitutions or relocations, rebates or refunds will be issued for ANY mechanical failures including delays due to receiving parts needed for repairs, delays due to service and/or utility companies, requests made outside operating hours or on holidays, etc. Some service requests may be handled on the next business day. The Agent or maintenance staff may enter the unit during working hours or at other times in case of an emergency for the purpose of completing necessary repairs, maintenance and/or requests.

Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages that occur during occupancy. However, accidental damage waiver protection is included in the total price of the reservation. Details of the plan and its limits of liability can be found at:

Keys: Two keys will be issued upon arrival and must be returned to our office at departure. In the event that a lockout occurs, guest may borrow a key from our office. Should it be necessary for one of our staff to come to your unit, a $25 fee is charged. In the event your unit has a keyless entry system, a private, 7-digit code will be issued to you. The code will activate upon the scheduled date and time of arrival, not before, and will remain active until precisely 10:00 AM on your scheduled date of departure. Therefore, you will not be able to access the unit after 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Please do not loose your access code.

House Parties/Groups: House parties are not permitted. Should one develop during your rental period, occupancy will be immediately terminated with no refund. Accommodations are strictly limited to the number shown regardless of bedding available. Overcrowding will not be permitted. Exceptions made for infants occupying a crib only. Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations reserves the right to refuse rental deposits, refunds and discontinue occupancy if in the Agent's opinion tenant is/will be detrimental to the property. If a Guest or any member of their party violates any terms or conditions of this Agreement, State & Local Laws, Noise Ordinances, Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations may terminate this Agreement and Guest shall be subject to eviction and forfeiture of total monies paid.

Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted. No exceptions. Boarding references are available upon request.

Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside any unit. No exceptions. You may smoke outside, on the balconies, or in designated smoking areas onsite. In the event a tenant is found to have smoked inside a unit an additional charge of $250.00 for smoke and odor removal, as well as cost to repair any related damages will be applied.

Telephones: You may make long distance calls by utilizing Telephone Company Credit Card or by calling collect. Local calls are free. Dial 9 for an outside line.

Comparable Units: If, for any reason, we are unable to provide you with the unit confirmed, we reserve the right to provide you with a comparable one.

Damage/Injury: Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations, as agent for the Owner of the condo, shall not be liable for damage or injury to guest or any other person or to any property occurring on the premises or any part thereof, and guest agrees to hold Agent and Owner harmless for any claims of damage, no matter how caused. Agent will not be responsible for acts of theft or vandalism or other damage to guests' personal property.

Special Reminders: Guests are expected to obey all local laws and beach regulations. No grilling on beaches, walkways or decks. Fireworks are strictly prohibited on resort property and are illegal on the beachfront per order of the Horry County Police Department. Sand dunes play a critical roll in controlling beach erosion. Please stay off of the dunes. It is illegal to pick, break, damage or destroy sea oats. It is illegal to kill or harm sea turtles or disturb sea turtle nesting sites. Due to human exploration and habitat destruction, sea turtles are threatened with extinction. The female turtle usually comes ashore at night to lay her eggs in the sand. In two or three hours she will lay about 120 eggs, yet only one turtle per nest will survive to adulthood. Avoid disturbing a turtle that is crawling to or from the water. Avoid crowding around a nesting turtle and do not shine lights in her eyes or take flash pictures. Littering is illegal and harmful to animals, birds and marine life. Please keep the ocean and beaches clean for all families to enjoy.

Taxes: Tax rates may change without notice. There are local and state taxes. Guest assumes all responsibility for payment of additional taxes if tax rates increase prior to scheduled departure date.

Preparing for Departure: Guest is responsible for removing any food from the refrigerator & cabinets, loading & starting the dishwasher and removing any trash from the unit. Please lock all doors and turn out all lights. Keys must be returned to our office. Count linen and place inside bathroom door. Departure Maid Service is included with your stay. Guest will be invoiced additional charges for unit not being prepared for departure, excessive cleaning, late departure, keys.

Check-out: Check-out time is before 10:00AM. Guests leaving when the office is closed may drop keys in the key drop box located outside the office door. Our housekeeping staff depends upon your timely departure so they may prepare for the next scheduled arrival. Guest will be charged a $25.00 per hour fee for late departures. Please do not leave keys in unit; a $10.00 charge per key will apply if keys are not returned to our office. In the event that a lockout occurs, guest may borrow a key from our office. Should it be necessary for one of our staff to come to your unit, a $25 fee is charged.

Left Items: Must be reported within 24 hours of departure. We will make every effort to locate lost items. Myrtle Beach Resort Vacations is not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you request us to pick up & mail personal items to you, if found, they will be mailed C.O.D. plus a $25.00 handling charge.
