Myrtle Beach Events

Throughout the year Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand is home to many events and festivals. Some have been celebrated for more than fifty years and others are newer to the area. Readers of the Myrtle Beach Living Newsletter have expressed a desire to know more about this aspect of Myrtle Beach heritage. To help them and others who may be interested we have compiled a comprehensive list to let our guests know what really is happening in Myrtle Beach.

This includes information about annual events and festivals from art to sporting events. It includes a listing of area attractions that offer annual events. Well-known festivals such as the Sun Fun Festival and Bike Weeks are covered in detail as well as lesser known festivals and events including Art in the Park, the Blue Crab Festival and even a Pow Wow. As you will note, while visiting this site, Grand Strand festivities almost always include food, so come hungry.

The numerous holiday and Christmas opportunities for celebration are included. Tree lighting ceremonies, parades and the Intercoastal Christmas Regatta Boat Parade are a part of the holiday festivities on the Grand Strand.
