Brookgreen Gardens on the South Strand offers a variety of festive events throughout the year. Two very popular events in the spring are Diggin' It Spring Garden Festival and the Plantacular Sale.
Diggin' It is a spring gardening festival with expert speakers, writers, and consultants. These experts in horticulture are available to answer any questions the gardener in all of us may have.
The Plantacular sale is a great time to learn the basics for planting a garden at home. There are lots of free activities to discover gardening in fun and educational ways.
Brookgreen Gardens celebrates the Holidays every year with the Nights of a Thousand Candles. During this festive occasion more than a thousand luminaries are places along the paths that wind through the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens. The season is heralded by music throughout the gardens and of course the food is a delight.
