Anytime you are on vacation, it’s always nice when you don’t have to cook. Yes, you won’t be at home where you get to find out where dinner will be at, cook and clean up afterwards. Instead head to one of the local restaurants in Myrtle Beach and enjoy your Thanksgiving Day meal. Cracker Barrel, Hard Rock Café, House of Blues and Wild Wing Café is where your family can head for some tasty food. We highly recommend that you make reservations for your Thanksgiving Day meal to ensure you too can enjoy not cooking and celebrating with the family.

Black Friday Deals

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are two of retailer’s best days where you can find the best deals. Shopping in Myrtle Beach this black Friday is what anyone is looking forward to. Get up early and head to one of the many stores that are located in the area such as the Tanger outlets and Bass Pro Shops. Some other locations where you can take advantage of the many sales are Barefoot Landing, Broadway on the Beach and the malls. Grab the one thing that your kids want on this day and make sure to hide it when you are heading back home.

Enjoy the Beach

One of the main reasons that many of our guests love to come to Myrtle Beach during the Thanksgiving Day holiday is to enjoy the beach. While the water may be a little too chilly for you to enjoy, you can still enjoy the sand and the sun. Bring your chairs down to the beach, pack the sand toys and bring your umbrella. The sun is still warm enough to give you some sun and it will allow the kids to play and build sandcastles. During the evening time, the weather may turn a little cooler, but you can still go fly a kite on the beach all while making new memories.

There are many other things that you and your family can enjoy this Thanksgiving Day weekend, but these are the few we thought you’d enjoy. If you haven’t made your plans to stay with us at Myrtle Beach Resort, now is the time. We can’t wait to see your family as you make new memories this holiday season!
