Everyone knows vacations can cost a bundle, especially when you’re traveling with a family that includes children. That’s why we think it’s important to save money anywhere you can. There are plenty of free things to do around Myrtle Beach besides play in the ocean, walk the beachfront, and make the most of the amenities where you’re staying. There are free Movies Under the Stars at The Market Common every Friday from 9-11 p.m. in Valor Park. This is an awesome way to treat your family at no expense to you. They’ll think it’s great watching movies under the stars! All you need to bring is a blanket or chair and some snacks. Here are the upcoming movies playing through the end of summer.

Hot Summer Nights at The Boardwalk is something you won’t want to miss. Located at the oceanfront in Myrtle Beach, there’s something going on every night, all summer long. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8-11 p.m. at the I Love Sugar Stage at Plyler Park the free Oceanfront Concert Series will be held. It’s an assortment of rock, country, jazz and pop artists that will be performing. A Boardwalk Elvis and other talented performers will stroll through the crowds performing every Friday and Sunday from 8-10 p.m. in Plyler Park. On Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. there’s a free fireworks show, too.
