This years 75th Annual Spring Rally takes place from May 9-18 and we strongly encourage you to get your reservations made now, rather than waiting until closer to the event. Bike week is a full week of fantastic events, wonderful coastal tours/rides, remarkable entertainment and food plus bikes of all types. Motorcycle tours have been part of bike week for more than 20 years and are a great way to explore the areas of Horry County and Georgetown County, as well as all the landmarks and attractions the region has to offer.
The 2014 Southern Motorcycle Tours during Bike Week are held on Friday, May 9; Monday, May 12; and Wednesday, May 14. Sign up for these tours between 8:30 and 10 a.m. in Lakewood Conference Center at Lakewood Campground on the day of the tour. Departure time is 10:30 a.m. Everyone and all motorcycles are welcome. Cost is $20/person. This guided tour of the southern end of the Grand Strand is approx. 95-105 miles long. You’ll enjoy stops at Medieval Times and Myrtle Beach Speedway.
The 2014 Northern Motorcycle Tours will be held on Saturday, May 10 and Tuesday, May 13. Sign up for these tours between 8:30 and 10 a.m. in Lakewood Conference Center at Lakewood Campground on the day of the tour. Departure time is 10:30 a.m. Everyone and all motorcycles are welcome. Cost is $20/person. This guided tour of the southern end of the Grand Strand is approx. 90-100 miles long. This tour includes stops at La Belle Amie Vineyards, Medieval Times and Myrtle Beach Speedway.
The Loop Tour is the longest motorcycle tour during Bike Week and is not to be missed. It will take you into Horry and Georgetown counties in SC and is approximately 190-200 miles long. Enjoy the beautiful views as you ride the open roads along the coastline. Departure is from the Lakewood Campgrounds Conference Center at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014. Sign up between 8:30 and 10 a.m. prior to the ride. Cost is $20 per person.
