The city of Myrtle Beach has been taking steps to try to eliminate Myrtle Beach Bike Week, but Bike Week is still on. Due to the fact that the city of Myrtle Beach is a relatively small portion of the Grand Strand, they won't have much effect on Bike Week as a whole. This year's festival looks to be bigger and better than ever with events and activities planned all along the Grand Strand (south, north & west of the city limits).
