A new an exciting, theme park is coming to Myrtle Beach.  In 2008, we are looking forward to the opening of the new Hard Rock Theme Park.  Construction has started with a giant roller coaster that you can see from 501 and the Back Stage Tour is already open.

Family KingdomAnother well-known and much loved attraction is Family Kingdom. Located on the Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, Family Kingdom is home to the largest Ferris wheel in South Carolina. Here is the place to ride the rides and recapture the carnival spirit. For a low price package deal, head across the street to visit their oceanfront water park. It is the only ocean front water park in Myrtle Beach.

For more ride thrills head downtown and try the Boingo, a bungee ride and the Slingshot, an upside down Bungee ride or for more water park rides and giant slides go to Myrtle Waves, which is a bit further north and Wild Water and Wheels just south of downtownd Myrtle Beach in Surfside Beach.

Water SlidesWild Water & Wheels while providing water slides requiring various amounts of courage to be ventured and a huge wave pool; also gives you an opportunity to enjoy paddleboats in the pond, a go-cart speed track and a great miniature golf course, encouraging a day filled with exciting variety.

Speaking of go-carts and mini-golf there is an array of places to enjoy each of these activities. Nascar Speedpark is the most popular place to race around the track in state of the art go-carts. For Miniature Golf the choices are endless. Travel on Business 17 and Ocean Blvd in either direction and take your pick.
